Critical Care also called Intensive Care Unit (ICU) are sections within hospital that look after patients whose conditions are life-threatening and need constant, close monitoring and support from equipment and medication to keep normal body functions going. Our experienced multidisciplinary team provides patient care with promptness and care. Consultants work with the residents in ICU to ensure their best possible care The team comprises of trained and skilled staff in the Critical Care Department, having expertise in the evaluation and management of these critically ill patients. The department provides critical care services for beds in 24 Medical/Surgical/orthopedics Critical Care and beds, pediatric or neonatal beds also including the isolation facilities. Every bed in ICU is fitted with b besides cardiac monitor, central oxygen, suction, phototherapy unit, incubator, warmer and infusion pumps.
We have also a neonatal ICU for critically ill newborns, it has an incubator, warmer, photo therapy unit, infusion pumps, and a treatment trolley.
Facilities: - Resident doctor/medical officer are available round the clock.
Staff patient ratio is maintained.
